Where we are active with Humanitarian Aid

Kenya - Humanitarian aid

Over 53 million people live in Kenya. It is a poor country. One in five children lacks enough money for food, clothing and shelter. We ensure that children get an education so they can eventually find jobs to earn better incomes. We educate their parents and communities. Children have rights to protection, to an education and to build a better future.

Our work in Kenya

Children from families living in poverty go to school less often. They are extra vulnerable to forced labour, forced marriage and abuse as well as sexual and other types of exploitation.

We ensure that children get an education so they can eventually find jobs to earn better incomes. We educate their parents and communities. Children have rights to protection, to an education and to build a better future.

To prevent children from being exploited, we help families find additional or new sources of income. Join our fight. Stop child exploitation.

Child labour and sexual exploitation

In the big city a lot of girls are forced to work in prostitution at a young age. In bars, hotels, brothels and along the road. The growing number of street children is also causing a sharp increase in the sexual exploitation of children.

Nearly 2 million children are forced to work in Kenya. Often because their parents do not have enough money. They do not go to school and cannot build a better future. We fight against this form of exploitation. We provide education, a safe environment, help to families and a future. Join the fight.

Protection against child trafficking

Child trafficking is common in Kenya. The rapid growth of large cities such as Nairobi are important causes. Many children move from the poor countryside to the big cities. Hoping to find work or education there.

These children usually end up in dangerous situations, in brothels or as house slaves in the slums. We fight against child trafficking. By protecting them. Join the fight.
