About DIAR Awards

The National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition (DIAR Awards), organised by Daima Trust is an initiative that recognizes employers, institutions, organizations, and individuals who champion Diversity, and promote Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), in the workplace and society. DIAR Awards are organized annually through a process of nomination, applications and self— submissions, from individuals and organizations working in Kenya, and are Champions of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the workplace and through their groundbreaking initiatives, corporate social responsibility programs, and services.  The organizations range from parastatal, county governments, Government ministries, State departments, Commissions, and Corporations, Institutions of learning such as public universities, colleges, technical institutes, Listed companies, community—focused organizations, NGOs, INGOs, businesses and other private entities. Successful individuals and organizations are invited to the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, where they are recognized, celebrated and awarded for their leadership in DEIB.

Through public voting, shortlisting, and decisions by qualified panelists who assessed submissions based on selected criteria such as commitment to diversity & Inclusion, and promotion of human rights, impact and sustainability, we emerged as the winners in Human Rights Category.

We could not have won this Award without the support of our team, donors, partners, children, their parents/caregivers, the communities where we work, and everyone working with us to prevent and stop child exploitation. Special thanks to everyone!

Our fight against child exploitation still continues! Join our movement today!
