Evidence on Online Child Sexual Exploitation in Kenya presented to the African Union

March 15th, 2019

Terre des Hommes Netherlands has presented evidence from Kenya on Online Child Sexual Exploitation (OCSE) to the African Union. During the first ever Continental Consultation on Ending OCSE in Africa, we shared our expertise and insights from our rapid assessment, baseline survey and experience in the country. The consultation brought together government representatives from Ministries of Justice, Communication (National Cyber Security Units), Gender Children and Community Development, Police and Prosecution, as well as Interpol and the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children. Spotlight was not only on evidence, but also on case studies about how OCSE is being addressed in Africa.
