Frits Schrouff Foundation supports vocational training in Thanh Hoa Vietnam

Because of his many trips to Asia and his connections there, founder and general manager Frits Schrouff has developed a deep personal commitment to the local population. This has resulted in the Frits Schrouff Foundation, a charity which initiates and supports social projects like schools, orphanages, hospitals and disaster relief projects in several Asian countries.

In 2012, the Frits Schrouff Foundation supported Terre des Hommes for the construction and implementation of a new vocational training center in Tangail, Bangladesh. Since then, a couple of hundreds vulnerable youngsters graduated in one of the five technical trades. The project includes support to find jobs as well and has been very successful to improve the lives of vulnerable youngsters and their families.

In January 2016, the Fits Schrouff Foundation decided to support similar vocational training and job placement for 300 vulnerable youngsters, including orphans and youngsters with a light physical handicap, in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. Youngsters can choose from eight different trades, including Cookery, Welding and Electronics and will get support to find gainful employment. We are very happy with the support of the Frits Schouff Foundation.
