Project Manager with strong advocacy skills (Madagascar)

Are you a project manager with over 6 years of experience? Do you have experience in leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams? Do you possess skills in developing and monitoring the implementation of projects and lobby & advocacy activities? Well, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

About the role

The Project Manager will join the Madagascar Country Team, and receive leadership and supervision from the Country Programme Manager to whom he/she will report. Within the country team he/she will work in close collaboration with the ACTE Project Officer, MEAL Officer, Project Assistant, Finance Admin Officer and Finance Assistant. In addition, he/she will collaborate with staff from the TdH NL Regional Office in Nairobi and TdH NL Headquarters in the Netherlands.

The Project Manager will be based in Antananarivo with some regular trips to Fort Dauphin and Amboasary. As the TdH NL Office in Madagascar is established in Fort Dauphin, he/she will be working remotely from line manager and project team and hence expected to be able to work independently and creatively as part of the Madagascar programme team. 

This position offers an exciting job opportunity, contributing to the elimination of the worst forms of child labour in Madagascar. The Project Manager is expected to manage the overall project implementation, budget and project team; to lead the projects advocacy activities and to ensure good collaboration and coordination with our consortium partner Save the Children and other relevant actors in Madagascar.
