Diversity and Inclusion Award for Best NGO Promoting Human Rights

The National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition (DIAR Awards), organised by Daima Trust, is a premier platform for recognising individuals and organisations in Kenya that are promoting diversity and inclusion. Daima Trust conducted extensive research to identify organisations that run projects or promote programmes that contribute to the promotion of human rights and protection of human dignity, and selected TdH NL as one of the nominees.

Through public voting, shortlisting, and decisions by qualified panelists who assessed submissions based on criteria such as commitment to diversity & Inclusion, and promotion of human rights and sustainability, we emerged as the winners in Human Rights Category.

The Gala Dinner and DIAR Awards Ceremony took place on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. Two team members who represented the organisation gracefully received the award at the ceremony.

We are glad that Daima Trust and the wider public recognised and honoured our amazing work and dedication to children's rights. The award is a great achievement to all of us in the TdH NL family. Not only does it serve as an important motivation to amplify our work, but it also enhances the visibility of our achievements!
