Focus on children’s vulnerability in the Covid-19 crisis in Ethiopia

When the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the global outbreak of the Covid-19 virus a pandemic on 11 March 2020, Ethiopia had not yet confirmed its first Covid-19 case. That was only a matter of days: on 13 March 2020 Ethiopia joined the long list of countries with confirmed Covid-19 cases. In the following weeks, the number of confirmed infections has risen to 52 cases in Ethiopia, with 2 deaths so far <em>as per 7 April 2020</em>
