Terre des Hommes Netherlands provides food relief for families hit by the COVID-19 crisis and floods in Busia Kenya
Kenyan families in parts of Busia County near the border with Uganda have been doubly hit - not only by the COVID-19 crisis but also by floods resulting from exorbitant rains. The flooding has displaced 29 of our beneficiaries from their homes. Terre des Hommes Netherlands normally works in the area to curb child sexual exploitation, and is currently helping the displaced families with food.
