A child marriage is stopped during the lockdown

When the coronavirus pandemic hit, the fifteen-year-old Sudha was scared. During the lockdown, her parents had decided to get her married to a thirty-eight-year-old divorcee. “ I did not want to get married. I was forced as my parents had financial problems”, she said.
