We are delighted to welcome Ms. Marianne Verhaar-Strijbos as the new chair of the Supervisory Board of Terre des Hommes Netherlands.
Marianne has a long standing career in banking, more specifically in Wealth Management and Philanthropy advice with ABN AMRO MeesPierson. She currently holds the position of Managing Director Wealth Management at Banque J. Safra Sarasin, a leading Swiss private bank. In her career Marianne has always followed and worked closely with organisations in (international) development, healthcare and culture. Marianne has shown great commitment to charitable organisations through her many voluntary engagements with NGOs. She holds several Supervisory Board positions including with The Hunger Project.

The introduction of Marianne also means a goodbye to Maarten Koopman who has been the chair of our Supervisory Board for the past 6 years. We thank Maarten for his dedication to Terre des Hommes and the fight against child exploitation.
